So I've signed the final tender last week and there's no backing out now.
Now we are in 'Scheduling' where they order the materials, and am also waiting on Council building permit, which can take 6 weeks.
Best case scenario is we have site works in 3 weeks. 5 at latest really.
Having in laws living with us has been fine so far. I'm yet to see any money being saved, seems we are actually spending more. Maybe they will start to contribute soon. I feel like they think it's fine to completely freeload, and that the plan was for them to save money instead. Language barrier not helping.
